The purpose of the Winneshiek County Conservation Board is to provide the public with wide-ranging opportunities for quality outdoor recreation while wisely managing our natural resources and encouraging land stewardship through natural history and environmental education programming.
Campground Update: Lake Meyer and Kendallville Campgrounds have been closed for 2016. Thanks for a great camping season; we hope to see you next year!
Fishing Update: We are headed in the right direction, but we will not have safe ice fishing conditions during the first couple of weeks in December.
Trails Update: The Dug Road section of the Trout Run Trail (between mile markers 10 and 11/0) was severely damaged by heavy rains and flooding in August 2016. It remains closed until futher notice. For more information, watch this website and our Facebook page or call (563) 534-7145.
